Give us an idea of your budget, and define what "a lot" means to you. It can be done relatively easy, but if your going to do it, save your money up and do it right. You will get a better ride quality with better quality springs, but you will pay more as well.

I got a buddy that spent $2-$3,000 on his rough country setup but I'm hoping I can go under $2000. Since I still have other repairs that need to be done and with my 2nd child on the way money is gonna be tight for awhile

2.5" suspensions
5/8" shackle
1.25" body
extended brake lines

All this is under 1400 a couple other small things should be bought like U-bolts but still should be way under your 2000 mark

remember the more of a lift you get out of your leaf springs the rougher it will ride and less flex is generally given.
