Well no radiator. Ill be calling them tomorrow. I was working on the t case and trans shifters. I was almost done and I dropped the damn set screw for the splined arm and cant find it. I went and picked up another andd called it a night. Anybody use the AA t case shifter mount? I dont think it is gonna work with their trans mount unless im not seeing how it is supposed to mount. My t case was also missing a stud so I went to put one in and I thought the threads were just packed full of grease. After about an hour I finally got this out. It feels plastic but it wouldnt burn out with a little torch.

dude, bummer on the radiator

like clint said, you can swap over to aeroquip/summit/earls etc, -AN fittings pretty simple. I plan on using aluminum tube to make my runs. the jeep 4.0 line is only 5/16 and I wan to bump to 3/8. thinking of using the stock 5/16 as the return. you can also get just a tube nut and insert to slide on the hard line, flare it and connect directly to the fuel filter. ends up being like $3 a connection vs $10.... yep built a few race cars in my day lol.....

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-220633-2b
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/su...4-2b/overview/

on the trans lines [for the hemi I did this too] for the ls swap, im going to use as much of the factory hard line as possible. at the soft rubber lines, ill switch to -AN stuff to plumb the rest.

with the TJ, im planning on getting [or making, my buddy has a cnc shop..] just the fitting that replaces the 4.0's regulator in the 97-04 fuel tanks from novak. then drop a return line into the tank with some -AN fittings and a down tube in the tank.

for your wiring, if you only have 2 wires then its most likely 'fuel level signal' and 'power to fuel pump' . I'd just put a 2 pin weather pack connector on it and call it done like clint suggested. I have those on the shelf

appreciate the offer/input on the trans.. I think I found one mated to a 231c case!!!

OH YEAH>>> PICKING UP A 2000 TJ TOMORROW.. $3500

putting my parts list together now...

I guess I should have done a lot more research on the fuel lines. I didnt know where to start but I have a pretty good idea now. Run down to Superior Radiator and ask them where my **** is :: no problem on the adapter. I can find weather pack connectors at Napa? I have 3 wires now that I have a pump in the tank. I almost swear that my lines. Are 3/8 & 5/16. If I used those nuts yku said I have to flair the line? What flair?

weatherpack... IDK about Napa, possibly? I know summit has them... I have a good selection of WP kits too. let me know if you want some. that's what I did on my hemi project. I had to use a 2005 tank and plug. I just mated it to the 2000 fuel tank wires with weatherpack.

let me see, when I am I going that way..hmmmm see if can get vito and tommy to come with y'kno wha im sayin' forgetaboutit'

-AN use a 37* the flare kit is $30 at summit. in the past I have gotten away with the stnd 45* flare and been ok, never had an issue to date. did that on my 70 stang the last time I changed things. im actually going to buy the AN flare kit tonight. its in my cart. figured I might as well have it!

thinking about it... the stock 5.3 fuel filter.. uses a stnd efi fitting?? if you want to go that route, then just get [2] russel efi fittings to lock onto it and connect your hard lines to those. just an option would cost a few dollars more

as far as your stock fuel lines go, just mic' your lines. they maybe exactly what you think they are, carbed motors [YJ's] may have been just that.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe the carb needed the volume of the 3/8 line but not the pressure.
