That's going to be our first wheeling day and we will have a guy that is new to rocks so we will probably run something easy like Fins and Things.

That would be cool. My buddy has a YJ he wants to put a 5.3 in so that should get his gears turning.

Really you should just take the whole next week off and wheel with us.

Not much going on with the Jeep lately. I took it by an upholstery shop and had a guy look at the seats, he was pretty puzzled about why they are falling apart so badly. He quoted $500 to re skin them. No thanks....

I'm gonna find the time here shortly to move the frame side upper shock mounts in the rear and measure for some Bilstein 5100s. Then the front will follow with the WFO shock hoops.

Been talking to Bryce at Stout Fabrication/Moab Fab about some aluminum corners. He will customize them any way I want for $355 shipped. That's not bad at all for 3/16" 6061-T6. I'm excited to get my crappy tub and gas filler hole covered up. Been thinking about running them in bare aluminum but that may be too much bling...

I'm going to build me a set out of 1/8" t6 then I'll build some tube fenders off them. I think I'll be powder coating mine.

Do you think 1/8" will be enough? Mine is more to clean it up cosmetically but the extra protection will be nice.

I think 1/8"will be plenty... It might not stop the tub from crushing in a roll but it will if I scrape along a rock or tree. With the fender on there I'm planing to use the fender kind of as a slider if needed. Plus I already have 8 4'x4' sheets of 1/8" 6061 t6.
