Thanks for watching man! I sent some pms over at camaro5.com there are a lot for sale there. I used the Advance Adapters trans mount. I like their stuff but I would use Novaks motor mounts if I did it again. Mine hang off the frane a lot but they do allow for more customization

I also wish I had everything in place to set the motor. Im lacking my radiator and manifolds. I think I have it set right but there is always that doubt. I dont want to have to grind these mounts off

I didnt have my trans mount when I tacked them in but luckily it was set in a good spot when I put it on

Motor mounts are welded in, just waiting on stuff to come in. Still debating on fuel pump...

I dropped the fuel tank and the opening is rectangular . WhyJ recommended using a 94 sender with a 96 Yukon pump. His 4.0 pump wasnt providing enough fuel and he was getting detonation. I wonder why Novak told me a few hours ago that a 4.0 pump would work fine?

Awesome just awesome.

I found my donor motor just have to lock it down. Does the guy you got your manifolds from have more or was it a one time thing. If so can you pm me his info so I can get a set on the way. This time I want to have the motor and necessary parts to drop it in before I tear apart the jeep lol!!!!

Hoping to get all the driveline and jeep this weekend !!!

What is your donor motor coming out of? The guy only had one set. I sent like 3 messages on Camaro5.com and he was the only one to reply. I wonder why people don't like making money? I got a reply from RMCR in Colorado Springs (finally) after I already had this deal set up. They wanted like $150 plus shipping for a set. I would try the classifieds on Camaro5 and hopefully someone will reply. I could have waited to collect the parts but I was too excited to tear out the carbed pos What is your setup going to be? Tranny t-case etc. I'll give you my opinion on everything I bought if you like!

Just called Superior Radiator and it won't be here until monday, oh well. I can still get the drivetrain in and the trans shifter installed, hopefully the t-case shifter as well. I ended up ordering a sending unit and pump from Novak and that should be here Monday. I am surprised at how easy my fuel system is looking to be. Since I pulled the Chevy engine I still have the stock fuel likes town to the transfer case area. Will I be good to just flare the line and use fuel injection hose to connect each one to a 3/8 barb filter? Same thing with the return line, just join them with some fi hose? I hope to have most everything done by the time my harness and PCM get back from Wayne.

I am gonna stick with the stock fan. I like to keep things simple. When I owned the truck I took it everywhere and never had issues with overheating. I will need to replace the fan since it is chipped up from hitting the shroud after the wreck (see avatar). I'll add an electric fan if I can't fit my radiator or if I have cooling issues down the road. I did just order a B&M trans cooler. Again, I Amazon Prime

I bet you will! You probably have a little better cash flow that me too. Selling parts is helping me finance this. How many miles are on the motor? With only 114k on mine I didnt even consider a rebuild. These motors are awesome. What are you going to go with for mounts, adapters etc? I wish I would have researched the 231c option more. Probably would have saved money and gotten me a stronger planetary and chain. Won't the factory spacer from 4l60 to 246(?) bolt up to the 231c? If it will I'd be happy to hook you up with the one that was in my truck. My friend that is swapping a 2000 Escalade Vortec and 4l60 into an 88 Blazer bought one to adapt to his 241 and the one off of my silverado was the exact same. Could have saved him $50
