2 nights in the garage in a row? I'm on a roll!

I test fitted the skid and found that the t case touches so I need to trim that before it will fit 1382760094406.jpg1382760119155.jpg

I also screwed with my loose t case shifter and got it tighter. Also Novaks clamping design sucks so I tacked the rod to the bracket. Burned the **** out of my chest in the process 1382760236961.jpg1382760249946.jpg

And I finished scavenging the wide chain and gears out of the 233c. I hate snap rings 1382760339105.jpg
I think ill steal the yoke from the 233 also, just in case my yoke is contributing to my front driveshaft vibes. The blazer case is a lot cleaner than my Jeep case was last time I tore it down.

I've had my eye on this little guy. http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo....0#.UnAmOGJMHFo

Its twice the price of an RCI cell but this is already set up for a YJ. What do you guys think? Is it worth not having to cut and drill and tap for the YJ sender or is that easy enough? I need to do something about my tank so I've pretty much decided on a cell.

I think I'm gonna order the Genright cell tomorrow. My girlfriend gave me the ok to spend my portion of our trip money on the Jeep since we aren't gonna make it. I should have been putting a small amount away per check a long time ago.

Well I got the new front output bearing and seal in the t case, now I just have to swap out the gears and chain and put it all back up and she will be on the road again.

Nice!! I bookmarked that as well! Looks like a good space saver as far a fuel cell goes, and 23gallons!!

That is one of the main selling points for me. The cutting/drilling/tapping may not be worth the extra money but the extra fuel would be. My girlfriend actually made that argument to me

I got the wide chain, new filter, and some of the fork pads in the case, got it back together and hung on the transmission. I ordered a fork pad set from Amazon but only 3 of the new pads fit. Any ideas? The top 3 are the old ones and the bottom ones wouldn't fit anywhere else...1383193362994.jpg
