whats the pricing.. Im going to have to order shafts for my rubicon in the next few weeks here. im curious.

no. we really don't know. the PO was kinda goofy. I have a folder of receipts, maybe something in there will give me the answer. but the 305 and 350s are identical block, from the outsides and share the same heads, cams intakes etc, kinda just like the new 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0s LOL...

I've never been poor, only broke. Poor is a state of mind. Broke is a condition brought on by Jeep ownership and a heavy right foot.

hey man, looks like eddie is selling his Cherokee and buying the YJ. once he has cash in hand, he's throwing a stack at the YJ. looking like JJ and maybe air shocks will be ordered next week. once I get more definitive on the process ill give you a heads up when the link build will start.

Finally worked on the jeep. I didn't have a wrench big enough so after work I ran to AutoZone and grabbed their fan clutch wrench. Took 5 minutes to get it done. I should get about 4% more airflow

put a fuel cell in the back and save $600

get some YJ stanction plates and tube the rest... these are pretty sick little pieces

hey buddy... the Cherokee sold today.. it will be game on with the YJ, possibly as soon as next week???? eddie already re-embursed me the costs of the link brackets, fuel cell and painless kit.

Currently, I am working on getting [2] hoists for the shop and my rubi on her shoes again so I can move it out of the way...

I've been thinking about a cell for a long time but those of use without LJs have little room to work with. Taking the dogs wheeling would be out of the question and camping would be tough. Though the main purpose is crawling...

What is the sight for those tubes for the cage?

Awesome on the YJ! I'm still contemplating linking it. A stretch using the BTF kit and XJ springs would be easier, but I think keeping SOA to the height that I want will be a lot of work, frenching hangars etc....

I'd do anything I know how to do on the side. Problem is, nobody wants some random dude working on their junk, but I don't have the heart to charge any of my friends

I had a deal with my friend that flips cars but he never wanted to put anything into them...

Have you thought about cutting a hole in the tub and sinking a fuel cell in?

I hadn't thought about that Clint. I'll have to look into it!

How is that Duramax treating you? I love my '05.

I love it. I just picked up another WJ way up north and pulled it back. This thing tows so nicely. I also just got 17MPG with 200 miles of towing my Jeep through 2 mountain passes and the rest in traffic and surface streets. I was pretty blown away as my dodge V10 would have gotten 7-8 MPG under the same conditions. Not that the difference in fuel cost will offset the difference in cost of the trucks any time soon, but it's nice to have double the range and not have to stop for gas all the time. I also love how the allison will downshift for engine braking. Very cool.

Wow, I only get 12-13 trailering my Jeep. Maybe the elevation difference? The Allison kinda scared me the first time I firmly hit the brakes coming down a pass

When my truck is empty I can get up to 20 mpg even driving through the mountains. The power isn't as amazing since I got my engine swap done though

I needed some immediate gratification and I've been putting off my t case/skid plate work so after ordering some LEDs off of Amazon I got em in tonight. 1376100501762.jpg1376100542033.jpg

I used Mean Max's write up and my turn signals work fine with the stock flasher, but I replaced it recently. The mkst expensive part was the hole saw and arbor bit. 65 ****in dollars!
