My current leafs do fairly well offroad even though they dont flex like I want them to. Half of the reason I want to be on coils is for ride quality on road. My front BDS springs arent too harsh, but the rear hits hard.

I've never been poor, only broke. Poor is a state of mind. Broke is a condition brought on by Jeep ownership and a heavy right foot.

Oh im sure it will.

I got my 233 as well. I haven't cracked it open, maybe tomorrow on my lunch break. Would it be immoral to put my 231 parts in the 233 and resell it? I doubt anyone with a blazer would break the chain or planetary (if it has the ones I want in it)

You think it was because of all the roll axis angle? I have the same issue with mine.

yep, having too much trianglation in the lowers gave me too much, or too little, roll axis angle. once i straightened out my lowers the thing didn't steer at all on bumps. live and learn i guess. didn't cost me any money to re build though, i just cut up my old brackets and links and re welded em.

Well I got the 233 split. It only has a 4 pinion planetary so I dont know if its worth changing that out and I dont know if the chain is any wider. Did I buy a case that I cant use?1373676016364.jpg

Just got back from a morning wheeling trip. I need to address my oil pan at some point. I thought my driveshaft and leafs would protect it but it rested on a rock at one point.

Clint, how much did you pay for your H3 Alpha pan?

$145. It's only around an inch shallower, but mine was held together with JB weld after the engine tipped over and fell on the ground.

That case has the wide chain. Standard chain is 1".

An inch shallower would have kept it off the rock, but it is a rare situation.

I thought this chain was supposed to be 1.5"?

For 231's standard chain is 1", 231HD is 1.25". I'm not sure about other cases.
