Still staying at the Apache , its cheap clean and off of the main road . Heck I am still assembling my front axle , hope to finish it tomorrow . Right now I am stuck on a conference call for work and texting a fellow JF member while surfing JF . The work call is for the new guys , but all of us have to listen in .

I got my temp gauge working today. I don't remember if I said anything about it but the probe on the temp sensor is bigger than the hole in the Auto Meter adapter, so after breaking the first one and waiting on Napa to get me the right one, I got the adapter drilled out to the right size and she bolted right up. I had to use a rat tail file to slowly get the opening wollowed out after I drilled it. Temp seems to be on the money according to Torque, even though the probe doesnt reach into the head. I figure it is close enough. I will monitor it with Torque for a while to make sure. All of my gauges work except for tach!
Haha thanks man. Heading to Moab to meet up with some guys from the forum tomorrow. Im psyched on it. Better hurry up with those shirts buddy haha. Do you still have that sending unit I shipped you? Could you measure from the bottom of the return tube to the mounting surface?
heres the yj... behind the dash ... some people should not be allowed to touch a set of crimpers
getting it thinned out
after with the new painless harness hanging out.
so i said maybe ill keep the yj as i had battled on whether or not to keep it. i ordered the painless kit for it as the PO had stuffed 4' of the camaro harness on the back of the motor above the trans.. WTF. figured id make it run as it turned over but wouldnt fire. after installing the harness, guess what, didnt fire. so i believe the PO lied like a b!tch when he said he had the motor running in the jeep. running in the camaro it came out of, sure. best guess is that the ECU was never programmed and the security is keeping the injectors from firing.
man i got pissed off and -cleaned it up, put it back together, took some pics and rolled that yj out of the shop. walked back into the office, sat down and posted it for sale on craigslist.

I've never been poor, only broke. Poor is a state of mind. Broke is a condition brought on by Jeep ownership and a heavy right foot.
