Are you going to replace the fan? A couple of the blades look not good. Fairly cheap and easy would be to grab an electric Ford Taurus fan, a high amp relay, and wire it to the fan output from the PCM. Tell Wayne what temp you want it to come on and go off. Should only cost $50 total or so.

Awesome on the radiator!!!!

It's the pedal and bracket... Get me info and ill get it shipped.

I'd use a $30 aluminum shroud off eBay. Then if I wanted a shroud "around" the fan blades... I'd take a piece of 3" or 4" wide thin gauge aluminum and make my circle. Theni'd lay it out and bend about 1" of it, cut reliefs in it and then form my circle again. then insert it through the shroud. finally pop rivet the circle to the shroud face plate. Hiding the bends between the shroud and radiator.

Maybe that's something I'll include in my LS swap kit LOL..
Ill check out that shroud. If I have cooling issues after that then ill work on an extended shroud

Ive thought about going electric fan. I think it will be pretty cheap to get just a new fan though. If I went electric fan, it would be awesome to have it computer controlled and im sure I could just put a 2 way switch in for a manual shutoff.

I got a shroud and efan for 100 of eBay. You can totally have Wayne set up relay triggers. Im going to have them added on my ecu..

Stickly Personal choice... I'd skip the Taurus fan. I know i works but... The eBay fan set up is clean. It only needs a standard 30 amp relay. I have a bunch of pics towards the end of my Hemi build thread of the set up.

I may look into that but I dont see why the stock fan wouldn't work fine with a good shroud. Though Moab in the summet and even local trails can get close to 100 degrees

It looks the closest but that is at about 3 & 5. That would also interfere with the trans mount so I would have to cut it and only use one bolt hole. In may do that. I cant swap the trans mount around like you mentioned, the holes line up I think but the contours dont match. Some work with a grinder could do it though

I finally got my girlfriend to help me in the garage. We got the trans cooler mounted and got the radiator in. I used the stock Silverado lines but had to cut one back and flare it. I cant say it enough, I hate AutoZone tools. I didnt make it before Napa closed.

man that's the best time to take a pic!!! man im working on rebuilding my relationship with the girl I should have married.. and will.. I cant wait till I can get her back in garage clothes... ummm yeah.. LOL

awesome progress.. getting closer. it was finally sunny here today and nice out so we all said F it and went offroading!!!! seeing that my stuff isn't done, nor will I take the blue HEMI TJ out, I had to ride shotgun. oh well atleast I was out in the sunshine and playing.

cool on the package. I will have yours out on Monday and make it so its there by the end of the week so you have it for the weekend.

I designed a cool simple little thing and have been working on it over the last week or so, outside of the fuel issue, t case adapter and hemi parts. I got it all worked out and it would have been cool to take it out to the off road park today and use it but, I didn't apply for a patent, nor was I able to make up any kits to sell on the spot.. so I didn't want to take it out there and use it without setting that stuff up first. silly as it may seem, having owned a business and designed things for cop cars I learned my lesson on stopping and just taking an evening, and applying online for a patent. at least you have some protection.

hey everything aside... have a happy easter
