I took the jeep on a test-drive, hit the freeway and I was pretty impressed! The truck went down the road straight(at least for me... But I am used to driving junk anyways) but a steering stabilizer is needed. I have the sway bar bushings coming from 4wheel parts. My rear drive shaft needed a TON of grease and one of the u joints was hammered dog s#^t, but I replaced it. Not much is needed now besides a windshield & paint!

I have since started a build thread on my cj6 so I will start focusing on that and the international! Here's a link to the CJ6 buildup.

Over the weekend I was able to do some hillybilly drive way tuning on the motor, pretty fast for a tired old 350!!!! Haha. I dont know what's in the motor but, it if your not careful you'll find yourself sideways through 2nd gear.

yeah... that whole thing about sideways through second. Not a good Idea, T-case said no thanks and went POP!!!

I looked at rebuild kits, the cost of a master rebuild from novak is $250. Next thing to do is tear it down and see what broke. Hopefully it will still take a rebuild

I layed this TURD back on the side of my mothers house. Lol Merry Christmas! If this is the kind of games this thing wants to play, it will find out how fast it'll turn up on CL in a million pieces.

O.k. Back to business, I got the new windshield installed and the new taillights are here.

I pulled off the t-case today, you can see the broken tooth good! Instead of buying a new gear and a master rebuild kit... I am going to be picking up another t-case this next, she'll hopefully hit the road soon.

UPDATE-
I did some trading around and was able to get a really nice dana 20.... only thing is it came out of a commando and the shifter is a bit different. it's not too big a deal but i figure i might as well take the time and build a twin stick shifter for it. That's it for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Tcase is in and everything is starting to get finished up! I also went back over the body work in a couple key spots! Dropped it off at the paint shop and it should be ready by wensday.

I am still at work so I havent seen the 7 yet, but I had my bro snap a few more pics!

P.s. does anyone know where I can buy the stickers for a older 8,000 warn winch? I am going to throw one on the front, but before I do, I plan on repainting it and getting some new stock stickers which would really make it pop!

I have been working on the jeep off and on, I'll try and finish up the front bumper, touch up the underside and mount the winch this week. Then I need to paint and bolt up the late model YJ cage!!!! But there's still a list of small things I have to do. When will this truck leave then I can finish the 6, hopfully soon!!!
