The deal fell through on my front 60. The guy decided to sell that truck as a functioning vehicle instead of scrap. I found one while I was at work in west virginia I could have gotten for 500!! I had to leave early so I didn't get to investigate shipping. I am in no hurry, I want to get all of the right parts. The one in wv was out of an 86 ford one ton. Art, how do you feel about buying used gear sets for axles?

I have been thinking more and more about that aw4 swap. I have been reading stu's writeup on it. I will be studying but if you guys have any good links or info about it please post it up.

Thanks,

Andrew

Stu's writeup should be all you need. You can also use a manual shifter and skip the whole computer. Just use the manual shifter and a switch for the TC lockup
