Yea I get it. I don't mind sacrificing a bit of rod clearance to keep the heims close to the arm.

I might go this route. It'd be nice if I could have it all done before the Big Creek event.

Yeah, you can weld to cast steel no problem with proper technique.

I don't think I'd worry about that. It's nice, but it's more than I'll need anytime soon.

Oh, and keep an eye on Barnes for your steering. He puts the heim kits on sale for 25% off every once in a while. One day only sales though.

Yea, but I really want the RS kit because of the heims. I calculated all that a while back and the price difference wasn't much.

I found the source of the mysterious creaking noise!!!

The Rokmen uppers in the rear had wiggled loose a bit and were producing a god awful creaking noise on acceleration and bumps. Tightened the bolts all down and she's quiet again.

I spent all that time rebuilding the lowers when it was just a few loose bolts, not that the lowers didn't need rebuilding.

Hey Ladies!!!

Please excuse my hair. I didn't get my morning shower. All nice and silky smooth now though.

I don't mind the work, its the pricetag that makes me cringe, and the thought that it could be the trans again. I am not ready for trans #4.

College life & having a modded jeep=limp home on breaks, work up to the deadline, get back to school between 11pm-3am the day classes start back after break.....then enjoy having an extremely fun jeep at school

Good luck

I hate the feeling of impending doom to the wallet. Hopefully it's a simple fix my man.
