Junk trans is out. The forums play it up. Removing a trans isn't that hard.

Sucks about the trans.

Yeah, they aren't too bad to take out...I got mine out of a JY that said no jacks...so we used tires to lower it onto

EDIT: I have an AW4 and some swap parts in my dad's garage if you're interested in buying that

No, I got the whole story and they weren't at fault. It was drained when they got it so they did fill it. It just had a bad bearing that went and tore up the insides, which caused the black fluid. It was just a bad transmission from the getgo, hence the whine I was hearing.

AW4 isn't a bad idea though. It's basically a 32rh with overdrive. Well and the fact it's electronic.

Got the replacement trans. The Jeep looks terrible. The last storm left about an inch of water in the passenger floorboard and it was full of debris. We pulled the rest of the carpet out and pulled the rubber drain plugs. I took the console home with me to tear out the sub enclosure and mount the Monoblock inside of it. Trans install will begin immediately after work. Most likely will be driveable by Saturday afternoon.

Oh, and a sweet *** Ferrari in the private parking garage at the Brazilian Steakhouse (Where one meal is $50 without drinks).
