I can relate to that, I don't know anyone who washes and waxes more than me. Good way to be!

So, my stepdad must have incredible luck, because a customer just gave him a Ford full float Dana 60 rear for free. So now we have 2 rear Dana 60's, 2 8.8's, a Waggy 44, and a HP30 all laying around the farm.

Unless it's 35 spline a d60 is trash.

No it isn't. This is a 16 spline by my research, and plenty of people have run big tires on a 16 spline ff with no issues. You could run chromos and be perfectly fine for a pretty big tire. And it would be easy to swap to 30 spline shafts for a little extra confidence. There's nothing trash about a free axle.

What're you keeping the HP30 for?

Maintain, wheel, upgrade, repeat.

Actually it would be better if I had one that says "No, seriously!" considering I make use of sarcasm in 99% of what I say.
