My Jeep when I got it. 2004 Wrangler X with 44,000 miles. All stock except 31" BFG All-Terrains. Of course had to mud with it stock.

My first mod: 4" Fabtech basic short arm susp. lift, 17" black Fuel Hotage Offroad wheels, and Mickey Thompson 12.5x33 Baja MTZs. Added in May of 2011.

Driving it out of the shop for the first time

Sitting in the driveway with the lift

Next mod: Birthday present! Warn M8000 Winch, tow straps, and tow hooks. Tree protector, snatch block, D-Ring for snatch block, and some other goodies added later.

Installation of the winch. Attached to the winch plate, this thing weighs a ton!

Installation of KC Daylighter 130w Driving and Offroad lights. This is the wiring for the windshield mounted Offroad lights. Pulled wiper panel off to run wiring.

Ran wiring in through the corner of the panel on both sides and crossed over the firewall at the hood hinges.

Put the panel back on. Wiring looks clean and dissapears quickly.

Lights attached and wiring complete.

Another pic of the finished lights. Put the hard smile rock covers on both sets.

Added yellow KC rock gaurds to all lights. I like em!

Both sets of lights on with rock guards.

My Iggee seat covers arrived.

There were only enough hooks in the box for the front seats (oops on Iggee) so I got creative and made a zip-tie chain to keep it tight. I probably used 20 or so zip-ties tied together.

The back seat finished...

...and the back seat installed.

Left Side.

Routing Fireflex Coax. Ran it through tailgate vent into the tailgate.

Vent back on

Comes out same hole 3rd brake light wires go in.

Scraped out a little bit of the cover to make it fit.

Ran along side of tub. Used the d-ring hitch to hold it down and get a good measurement.

Uniden PRO-520xl

Installed quick disconnects so i can hide it.

Use stereo for external speaker or PA (until my horn gets here)

Ext Speaker output going to stereo

Modified Arizona Rocky Road mount. It didnt fit my Olympic Extreme Duty tire mount so I lined it up between the bump stop and tire mount bolt and drilled a hole to match the width. Sits to the right a bit but works for me.

3' Firestik II 'FS' on spring on ARR mount w 18' fireflex coax w/ fire ring

The antenna. (sorry. pic was on phone, at night, into garage light)

New Warn Go Prepared windshield banner. And you can see CB.

Blue LED HVAC lights. Broke middle one while installing, so only two on.

Blue TriLED instrument cluser lights. Awesome.

SRC arrived. The box. UPS man dropped it off inside my garage. He must have known...

Packing. Lots of foam blocks and plastic. Cardboard wrapped on ends to keep from busting out of the box.

There she is!

Old stock bumper

Installed with lights relocated. Looks awesome but only 4 bolt locations.

And from a slightly higher view lol.

Stock horn location. Thats gotta go. (theres the wiring for the Daylighters that i still hadnt hooked back up since the new bumper.

Wolo Maxi Sound Dual Horns. $22 at O'Riellys

Bent stock horn bracket to accomidate high pitch horn.

Drilled out a hole to proper size and bent bracket that came with horns to mount low pitch horn behind wshld fluid tank. (bracket bent down to keep mud out)

And how the jeep looks now.

Finally got the correct pair of Body Armor trail doors in. Last pair I sent back because the limiting strap hoop was riveted on where I couldnt put the strap on. Put ths set on this morning. In this set, the passenger side hinge scrapes the paint off the body as it pivots. Grinding required apparently.

WARNING: I had so many issues with these doors I ended up selling them. I will never buy Body Armor again.

Installed SPECO 6" Aluminum PA horn to fog light mount tab on SRC bumper.
Its a temporary location but I wanted to get max sound for football game friday. Cut plugs off one end of Red/White stereo cable and wired into PA horn. Plugged uncut end into another cable that changes from Red/White plugs to 3.5mm jack. Then into back of Uniden PRO-520xl CB. VERY LOUD! Pretty good for an unamplified because I closely matched the wattage/ohms and got a high sensitivity (105 dB).

Parked next to my stepdad's new-to-him '92 YJ. Needs some wiring fixed and bedlined interior, but he got a good deal.

Sanding bumper to bed line. Got some rattle can bedliner from Lowe's. Tried to remove bumper and hitch reciever but bolts are stuck. Soaked in PB Blast for two days but two bolts won't budge. Said the hell with it and taped it off.

Speakers installed. They fit perfectly. No cutting of brakets required in mine. That must have been earlier models.

The stock speakers removed. I thought they were supposed to be 4x6" speakers. Maybe that was on older models too. Almost made the mistake of buying 4x6 replacements.

It's shown on the left on the package but I couldn't get the box to fit over the wires. So i just turned the bracket around and mounted it on the right. It shouldn't make a difference. Mounts the same either way.

Gotta love the PA. It really never gets old.

This is an exceptionally clean Jeep, hopefully that will change. j/k

In all seriousness though, how are those horns you put in?

And did you replace your head-unit as well or just the speakers?

It's awesome. The high sensitivity aluminum makes it so loud. But the manager at my local Sonic doesn't appreciate me celebrating a hs football game victory in the parking lot.:shhh:

It will stay that way. It's my DD and, while I own all of the mods, my dad has the title.

They're great.$22 bucks using a free giftcard to O'Riellys. Much louder and sounds like a Ford Expedition horn.

I had bought a Kenwood head unit earlier. No amps yet though:(

Yea those little bastards are a pain to take off and put on. Trying to get a heavy as **** winch and plate up and over an SRC bumper without dropping it or scratching the bumper isn't much fun either. Plus the cables started to rub the paint off the grill so I had to get creative with zip ties.

Holy cow - you don't need d44/d60 for 35"s.
Unless you're going higher than 35"s. In which you should take care of the weak points on the jeep.

Such as brakes, axle shafts , gears, lockers, skids, tire carrier etc, power steeering, front end strength etc.

I'd go HPD30 w/ 8.8 rear, LSD in the back and ARB in the front.
