i've looked into those lights for reverse lights like you used. I know they're bright but how much light do they actually throw on things behind you?

Well I just went outside to take a picture and that didn't work to well but I drove down to the bottom of my hill so there was no other light and I would say these light effectively light up about 50ft behind you. Best reverse lights I've ever used.

What is the size of the break lights and do they work as turn signals?

The break light is 4" maybe 4 1/4 with the ring around it. They do work as a turn signal buy the xj has a separate wire for signals so I just added the other lights to it.

TJs have the same wire for stop/turn and one for running lights so any standard 4" STT (stop, tail, turn) light for a semi trailer will work as brake lights, turn signals and running lights.

I hate this thing, I keep getting way to ahead of myself. Can't stop thinking about the rear suspension leafs vs coils. I have so many other things on the to do list before I'm ready for that.

I'm leaning towards coils just need to figure out how to make the crossmember for them. Thinking something like similar to claytons.
