Another new one huh? Welcome to the LJ world Let me know the next time KMA is having a get together. I need to get involved with a group so that I can go wheeling again.

I've been wanting an LJ for years, I finally broke down and got one. I'll swap most of the parts off of my TJ onto the LJ and put the parts off of the LJ onto the TJ and then sell the TJ to try and recover some of my money. Its amazing how much better the ride is just by having a slightly longer wheelbase.

KMA will be meeting tomorrow morning in the Northern Tools parkinglot at Janaf shopping center at 10 am. Join up on the KMA forum and introduce yourself. I'm pretty sure a few of the guys are planning a trip to Rauch Creek in the next couple months. I think there is a group going to Big Dogs soon also.

Damn. I won't be in town tomorrow. Flew the boss up to NYC for the UVA game. Let me know the next time

Oh and you'll love the LJ. Departure angle sucks vs the the TJ, but the handling and ride make up for it.

It's all good. KMA meets every weekend somewhere. Next weekend we'll be meeting for our monthly park clean. Last weekend we met at Starr Motors for the VA4wda event. As far as departure angle goes I think I should be ok on 37's for now. I just need a camping/fishing/Kayak carrying rig. I'm not as into rock crawling as I used to be.

I decided to just post my TJ up for sale on Craigslist as is: http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/4397076908.html

I think the LJ is 10" longer than the TJ but I'm not 100% about that.

I saw the LJ for sale on Craigslist, and after contacting the seller he said it would be nice to sell his Jeep to a fellow JF member especially someone he knew would treat it right. So I researched him here on the forum and checked out his build thread and decided that I'd be retarded to not buy his LJ for the killer low price he was selling it for with all the upgrades he had already. I feel like I got a good deal on the LJ and hopefully someone else will feel like they got a good deal when they buy my TJ.

Removed rear bumper.

Today I pulled off the Swag rear "Big Hit" bumper and sold it with the front bumper as a combo package.

Grill cover removal.

I'm not a big fan of the blacked out *murdered* look, so I decided to remove the grille overlay:

This kinda sux... I was hoping to find nice clean virgin paint underneath the overlay, but there are little rust spots here and there:

Gotta love the room in an LJ!!!

Look at all this room! I'm thinking of putting in a couple lanes for bowling, or maybe a driving range... I might just use this space to park my TJ in... 0 The Swag Offroad drop down tailgate conversion is pretty bad arse too!
