New Bestop Safari Top

The back flaps a little, might have to rig something up to keep it from doing that, its kinda annoying...

I LOVE this picture.

Now if I can just get a high clearance skid plate, life will be all good.

I found a guy close by selling 4 16x8 cragar soft 8's... that would be ideal for some 33" tires... SO... i put my wheels and tires on craigslist, just to see if Id get a hit on them, and I already have a guy seriously interested... so i may sell these and buy some bigger wheels and tires... SUPER excited.

I switched out the front springs this weekend. I swapped the 2.5" 4-cyl with the 2.5" 6-cyl springs. My Jeep is officially level!

Word of advice, if you ever get the idea to switch out your front springs, dont try to do it with the front tires STILL ON... big mistake...

Its been so nice lately, I havent had my doors on in a week.

Yeah, Ive got to thinking about it, I dont know if I could sell it... but I REALLY want a bigger engine and an automatic... I just know that there can be so many issues associated with that swap, not to mention lots of $$$...

Oh well, only time will tell...

Made a wish list today for future mods in order of importance and cost:

Next month or so:
Monstaline - $130
Matching spare tire - $100
4 speaker upgrade - $150

This summer:
Custom bumper (AtoZ DIY base, with grill gaurd hoop and stinger) - $300
Oil pan skid - $60
Solid diff covers - $150
Steering box skid - $50

This fall:
Winch - $370
ZJ tie tod - $100

Eventually (depending on money):
Regear 4.10 -> 4.88 - $1200
Flat fenders front and back - $500

I had big ideas to upgrade a bunch of stuff, but im pretty satisfied with my current lift/tire setup. So ill just wheel it like it is until stuff breaks, then upgrade as necessary... Id like to do my regear sooner rather than later, but money is tight and im working on an uberbudget!

Ordered some KC Daylighters off amazon for a stellar deal.

Ill probably pick up the windshield mounts and relay this weekend and get them on. The kit came with everything needed EXCEPT a relay...

So funny story. Im on my way home from work today and im at a stoplight. A silver truck drives by and waves at me... I couldnt react fast enough to wave back, but I thought it was weird, then I thought to myself, that guy must own a Jeep if hes waving to me. 5 minutes later, Peter text me and tells me he just passed me highway 79 in a silver truck... crazy right?!
