yeah. If you wanted to save some money, i wouldn't lock the rear right away. If you do lock it, your best choice of locker would be a selectable one such as ARB, and those are rich

lol... my dent, as in singular... it put a crack in my windshield... im getting used to beating it up a little... I think once I pay it off, I will buy a truck and trailer and tow it around. I want to comp cut the corners and get rid of all the frills, lights, etc... I saw alot of cool rigs this weekend and got a lot of good ideas.

Wired up my lights tonight... ran all the wires through the frame and tub... im kind of OCD like that... but I replaced the 50w bulbs with 130w and these suckers shine BRIGHT! Mounted the switch to my dash panel, I eventually may get a OEM switch for the dash panel.

Thanks again to AustinTexasXJ for the lights!

you dont need 16" wheels for 33s.

you planning on doing a 4.0 swap at some point? or maybe even a v8?

I getting the itch for an automatic transmission... There is so much I want (bigger axles, 4.0, lockers, etc etc etc) I am thinking I may just stop putting money into this Jeep, and just start looking for a Rubicon. It may be more money, but when considering the money I want to put into this Jeep, it would just be beneifical to upgrade to the "already built" Jeep...

But who knows.

yeah i hear that. i think id just look for a 4.0 and a 3 speed personally. then id look into going bigger even if its just to 33s having the 4.0 will help alot on the road. peters yj has the 4 cylinder and everytime ive ridden in it ive always been impressed with the torque that thing has

The 4-cyl's arent bad, they are just hogs on the hwy... I am torn between looking for a X, Sahara, or Sport with the optional D44 rear end, then regearing it for bigger tires... OR just regearing my Jeep, throwing on some 33's and seeing how it performs. Everyone that is running the 4-cyl with 4.88 gears says it regains ALOT of the lost performance from going bigger...

So many decisions!

have you decided not to put them on?

I appreciate you coming to me to ask, ill pass for now, itll be some time before those will be useful to me.

I am going to look at a 2003 X today, hoping it is in good shape, maybe with a D44 rear end, that I can snatch for a good price.
