The WWK Build... An Austin Texas TJ

1YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Day 1 and day 365...

A few months later, Cragar wheels:

And then a few months after that, 2.5" RC lift, 32" M/T's, 1" Body Lift, 1" Pro Comp Spacers, 1" MML, and RC Steering Stabalizer:

On the way to get the new tires put on:

Ben and me putting on lift:

As it sits today:

|2.5" RC Lift|JKS Disconnects|1" MML|1" Daystar Body Lift|32" M/T's|15" Cragar Soft 8's|1" Pro Comp Spacers|

Next few steps:
-PSC Stinger (bc I think they look cool)
-Smittybilt Classic Rear Bumper
-Custom Sliders (thanks to a buddy with a welder)
-U-Pol Raptor
-XRC8 Winch
-Hi-Lift Jack

WAY later, as money comes:
-4.88 Regear
-SYE and CV Shaft + adjustable control arms
-TT
-33" M/T's after the regear
-Stereo upgrade
-Steering system upgrade

YEARS from now:
-I6 swap (unless a certain 4-cyl blows up soon... yeah right)
-D44's (unless a certain D35 breaks sooner rather than later)

Ill keep y'all updated as the build progresses.

Thanks for reading

The two stickers interfered with each other, if you have a spare JF sticker, ill gladly add it back...

Thanks for looking though.

Got some sliders from AlTheKiller for a good price, shot them with some paint and put them on today. He didnt have the hardware from the factory, so I just bought some heavy duty 1/2" hex head bolts from Pep Boys to mount the sliders.

Pretty easy install. This is the first time ive drilled into my tub, it was a little unnerving, because once you start drilling, there is no going back.

Absolutely LOVE them! Aggressive, cheap, and relatively quiet... All for under $100 a piece. I give them 2 thumbs WAY up.

Oh, sorry I deleted that. I'm actually thinking of picking one up to use as a spare because it seems to match the MT/R tread pretty closely.

Where did you buy them?

Another good angle...

I also painted my lug nuts black to match the wheels, but I didnt do a very good job... Oh well...

I found a guy selling a Smittybilt XRC Rear bumper with d-rings for $50... he has it in his garage and just never put it on the Jeep... He had it on craigslist on a post that was selling lots of random stuff, but no one jumped on it, so he got discouraged and lowered the price, I just happened to come across the post and now I win! Im picking it up tomorrow... Its a newer model, thats finished all the way around. Lucky me.
