My 2" bds front and rear springs came in last week. Also got zone nitro shocks. Hopefully this all will ride decent. Can't be any worse than the rough country leaf springs that were on my yj.

It's getting closer to being where I ultimately want this jeep.

Put new brake pads on the front over the weekend, didn't get anything else done though.

Took the jeep by the frame shop today and had them measure it out. As suspected since I got it, the frame is bent/pushed over about an inch and a half, then up in the front. My drivers side tire sticks out further than the passenger one.

Monday I had some brake problems, both the front calipers were locking up and started smoking. Ending up replacing both calipers, lines, and the master cylinder on that.

Then Thurday and today I got my BDS 2" lift finally put on. It rides way better than the stock springs and shocks that were on there. I also had 2" spacers up front to level things out with the bumper and the winch.

As it sat before:

Getting the front Wheels off:

Springs, Track bar, and sway bar links out:

New springs being put in:

Just with the front being done, the driveway is not level:

Didn't take any pics of the rear being done. It got cold this morning and just wanted to get things done. I sprayed everything with PB blaster twice a week for two weeks. Seem to do the trick, everything came off really easy and none of the bolts broke.

Everything all done:

Here it is all cleaned up.

Jeep is going to a buddies frame shop this weekend to get it all straightened out. Then I can order a new hood and get my tube fenders on.

Ordered a pacesetter header for it, should be in by the end of the week. Hopefully get rid of my exhaust leak, suspect that its a crack in the manifold. Either going to make a cb antenna mount or order one soon.

Finally got rid of my rough start problem that turned out to be a coolant temp. sensor.

Header came in thanks to fed ex today. Started stripping it down because they don't paint it with high heat paint. Hopefully get it all done and painted with header paint tomorrow.

The paint on the header and pipe was a big pain. After aircraft stripper, brake clean, and a wire wheel, decided to just burn the stuff off. Worked pretty well.

I think I have decided to go with a mopar swap instead of the lt1. Just listed the motor mount kit on the classifieds and I'm looking to buy some to swap in the dodge 5.2 or 5.9. Also leaning towards swapping the 5.9 in.

Header is finally installed after having to dent the tube coming off of number one was hitting the intake. Runs a lot better with the header. I went into it thinking it wasn't going to help at all, but it was actually fun to drive now.

A little head work has been done, .30 over, rv cam, pace setter header, and thrush muffler.

On another note pacesetter is changing the production of the 2.5 l header because of the clearance issues with the intake.

Just got some zone swaybar disconnects and 1.25" body lift pucks. Body lift will sit around for a while until I get some 33s or when I get around to do the motor swap.
