Thanks, I appreciate it. It's a slow build for sure. I think I decided on keeping it until I'm out of college. Three more years and this thing will hopefully be where I want it and it will turn into a trail rig.

Here are some pics from removing the grille. Didn't think I would have to loosen the light buckets, but I couldn't get the harness for the head lights out without doing so. Going to take my sway bar off next and sand it down. whoever the PO had paint it, didn't even kill the rust on it. Heard my block was finally out of the vat and getting ready to magna flux it to check for cracks.

Finally my motor work is done and ready for me to pick it up. I ordered new motor mounts and I have to pick those up as well.
In my spare time I started messing around with some paracord while sitting around the shop. Made some orange and black grab handles, that I think came out really well.

Finally back up and running again. Bed lined the grille and it came out great. Replaced all the air bags and dash cover too. Also replaced my headlights to auto pal housings and h4 bulbs.

The only bad thing that happened so far was the back glass got broke out of the hard top on the trailer. No idea how. Looked back and saw the wiper swinging.

Finally getting to play a little with the jeep. Missed driving this thing. Looks like I need to add some more length to the bump stop.

Next week I'm going to pull a limited slip ford 8.8 with 4.10 gears. Plan on putting the artec truss system on that.

That's a nice rig. But I don't know of anyone looking for a trail rig right now.

Is there anywhere legal around here to trail ride?

He still has it taged and drives it on the street. Legal trail rides in this area would be up in the national forest there are a lot of trails up around cleveland area. Superlift is a blast there are some awesome trails out there. http://www.orvpark.com/ Byrds adventure center is a fun park to visit it has a little of everything to do there. http://www.byrdsadventurecenter.com/

Yeah I've been to both of those. Fun run is my favorite I've been on at super lift. Never wheeled at byrds, but have raced dirt bikes there.

Checked my transfer case today and it was about half a quart low. Then found the cause to a weird noise I was having. The exhaust hanger above the skid plate never had the exhaust put back on it, so it was bouncing around in there.

Picked up a ford 8.8 axle out of a 96 explorer. Has 4.10 gears and limited slip. Cost me $98 bucks for axle minus the calipers and rotors. Also took the yoke with the flange.

Cut the stock muffler off today and installed a thrush turbo muffler and dumped it right after the muffler. It drones pretty bad over 2500rpm, so I'll most likely end up running the exhaust back to the back like the factory one. Other than that it sounds good on the little 2.5l and doesn't sound like a ricer.
