Awesome build so far, stoked to see how it turns out with the beams up front. Keep the fab coming

Its under thread tools. Thanks for the interest.

Update...

After playing with beam arcs and measuring travel in current formation I need to make a rear beam crossmember. Not a huge issue, I have cut the current one into needed shape, just time. Of course if I have a new shiny rear crossmember I cant have used steel front plate. haha so ill be making a duplicate front cross member as well. Hope to have those tacked in and radius arms finalized but end of weekend. Its going well but I have been ignoring the biggest issue...

Steering

Its hard enough to get good steering on ttb to try that on a different vehicle is more tricky. Which reminds me, is there any effect to running your pitman arm in 180 degrees opposite direction?

can't see why there would be. you will probably have to file or grind off the key splines on the pitman arm.

Spent the weekend making radius arm mounts and tying them together with a crossmember. I tacked the mounts to the table to align everything then squared the tube to the mounts so everything was square.
PB175693

I added second plates to the sides of the mounts for strenght. My crossmember is 2" .120 wall dom sleeved with 1-3/4 dom.
PB185698

Ill be making a bunch of updates over the next week. Hoping to get a lot done with the time off work for the hoilday.

Looks good! I just got back from OW testing out my suspension, finally have 12" coilovers with hyd. bumps at all 4 corners, now its time for spring and valving tuning. I only have 12 inches... haha. But I can only use about 10 in the rear due to driveshaft angle....still much better than stock.

Keep up the good work, I want a ride in that thing when you take it out!

Did a lot of work over the past for days

Ill post pics of the highlights. Look for more later. I have to use flicker instead of photobucket... Mac problems.

I cut a new beam crossmember, made radius arms, finished the radius arm crossmember, started frame plates and fabbed up a motor mount and trans mount. I also cut my fender wells and painted the rear bumper/tire carrier.
