Hello Ya'll

I new to this jeep thing but so far its awesome !!!!! Officialy onwed my jeep for 2 months now and thanks to you guys loving every moment

The Story
I wanted a new car for my self since the wife's new job requires it to have a good reliable car so like any good husband I gave her our new KIA for her. So the hunt starts, I really did know if I wanted a jeep but I found one, A dark green 2000, 6I and a 5 stick. After talking some numbers and letting the used car lot see me walk I score a deal $4500 out the door. I didnt know how much of a deal it was until I started to see other jeep prices

The Jeep

The jeep its all right, It has it goods and bads
Its got some miles 140K, it also needs a new top, but the engine is strong the trans shift good and the tires are in good shape. it drives nice and strong.

The first day

I was soo excited to show my wife my nice price hunt, the first thing she said when she saw it she call it "The Green Turd" so it stuck. She didnt really like it, but all it took was a drive with the top down and she was sold

So far I have done some things
I have rhino line the inside (I will wirte a review too)

Things I want to do

Looking at painting the wheels
a new alarm with power locks
a new top

I think I also have the jeep sindrome (Just Empty Every Pocket)

I'm so in love with the jeep life style that I'm also looking for a local club affiliated with this site, I have located the Mud Floaters but Cant find much info on it. If you belong to thins club please PM so I cant try to join.

Thanks for all the articles you guys have writen, it has help a bunch with some things

Nice looking Green Jeep, You really did get a good price on it also. I have been looking a at few up here around home and found 1 (2001) and they want 11,500 for it. Maybe one day I can stumble upon something like you did.

Thats not a bad price at all, congrats, you treat that green turd well. After you lift it and put some tires on it, it will be the green monster.
I really cant believe the price you paid.

naw dude she loves it, I took that picture in the mud pit a local wheeling spot down here, a ton of people go to it during the weekend, she was up there to get a better view.

and yes that the one responsible for the "green turd" name but I still love her
