Oh, you wanted NUMERIC info. I'll have to look that up...

Time to learn how to scan film!

Still, though, the compliment is much appreciated.

Have any plans for the TC linkage? Forgive me if you've already mentioned it.

Novak shifter, without question. For $150, it's a no-brainer, and it will help me down the road when I raise the transfer case.

The cable shifter was on the "Soon to be purchased" list - along with a full-sized spare - until the brake issue arose. I'm also now on the hunt for a good LJ for Annabelle, so that's another way that we'll hopefully be spending some Jeep funds.

Today's Jeeping: it looks like the compressors will be relocated somewhere in the vicinity of the ABS tray with new lines to the differentials, new breathers, and cleaned-up wiring. It always bothers me when people don't clean up the wires...

I'm also heading to check out a few LJ's here and there for Annabelle...we found a yellow one that's not in too bad of a shape, and on which I might be able to negotiate. There's also a red one that's got ridiculously low mileage and is underpriced. The downside is that it's an automatic.

Anna hates automatics and I know the 42RLE doesn't have the best reputation in the world...what do you guys think? Hold out for the NSG370 in a color better than yellow?

Definitely and I suspect Anna would compliment any color LJ quite nicely.

She had an impact wrench?

Please, no automatics! Hold out for a stick! Yellow's not bad. I hate red on a jeep! Sorry red owners.

What's wrong with yellow? Everyone out our way repaints theirs yellow and loves it. Not my personal style, but I like it.

It's easy enough to add other accents!

Yellow is out...too many small problems and a dealer that was unwilling to come off their too-high price by a single dollar. I'm not upset...that particular dealership has a rather nefarious history, in any case. They claimed that the price was reflective of "top condition" and weren't too happy when I pointed out a loose tie rod end, cracked exhaust manifold, the infamous passenger-floorboard leak, and my personal favorite: FOUR trouble codes that were pulled out via the key trick. Yeah, top condition...

I also looked at a white one (not too bad, but it needed a top) and there's still the red auto to check out, although Bob may disown me for considering it.

If you want an LJ hold out for a 2004 model so you get the good NV3550 trans. I have the NV3550 in my 2003 and its awesome. Heard nothing but negative comments on the 6 speed in the 05-06 years.
