I'm glad that you're enjoying it. Have faith on the beardage...it will happen with time, dedication and a severe dislike for un-strained soup.

Don't think I've ever been this excited over a simple toolkit

Every Jeep's EDC should include a firearm.

Oh, I think we can cover that in relatively spectacular fashion.

Journal entry # 12
1st day of the 5th month, year 2012

Today I discovered a document titled The Wasteland Survival Guide: Engineering Greta . I can only assume it should help me through these dark times of not being able to fund my own Jeep build. I am only on page 9 of 41 and have been very entertained by the creative writing. This "Sundowner" seems to know what he was doing. He was also able to include a few pictures of a goddess whom I believe to be named Anna. She must hold the secret to survival here in the wasteland. I must not forget this elegant yet rugged machine called a "TJ", which the Sundowner fellow undoubtedly used to make it out of the wasteland. I must keep reading now so when the opportunity presents itself I will be prepared to make the same endeavor. This has been a good day indeed!

Okay, "Ballistic Wampum" is now The Awesome Phrase Of The Day. My compliments to you, sir.

Vehicle-mounted offensive firepower is not going to be a project that'll happen anytime soon simply because I have others that are more important...i.e. half doors. However, most of the decision-making is done...the only real question on our end is whether or not to make the jump from 5.56mm to 7.62mm. I think that - due to ammunition cost factors - we'll stay on the smaller end of that spectrum for now. We can always make a few changes later and jump up to the heavier NATO round.

P.S. If you're good, that last comment told you everything you need to know about what's on the drawing board.

In the spirit of the quote of the day, the clear choice is 7.62.

Awesome Jeep!

Greta needs to become a technical with a rollbar mounted belt-fed 7.62 of your choice for proper size and volume distribution of high-velocity wampum nuggets. Beyond that, you'll need a personal defense weapon and a side arm. I think that 5.56 and .45 are clear choices.

On a side note, I've determined that I still prefer Chick fil A of ANY type over MRE's. Maybe I should rethink my emergency food stock pile.
