It's funny because you're in for so much more ocular trauma and you don't even know it...

I should have a compression gauge showing up today, so with any luck at all I can actually work on Greta tomorrow and take pictures of actual work occurring. With that said, I'll now wait to see what gets in the way and keeps me from doing anything at all.

That is NOT the worst movie ever; the fact that there's a very-much-to-drool-over Madeline Stowe in the cast - personal admission, there - proves that this cannot possibly be the worst movie ever. In point of fact, the worst movie ever happens to be Manos: The Hands of Fate. It's the only film that can take a concept so inherently awesome as "pagan polygamy orgy" and make it suck complete and utter a**. Game, set, match.

I almost put "There, I put boobs and Jeep parts IN THE SAME PICTURE" as the caption to that image, believe it or not.

And a belated Happy-Whatever to you as well.

I elected to not do the compression check yesterday/today for one very good reason: I'm going to have Annabelle help with it so that I can get some half-decent pictures in this thread again. So, the dry spell isn't quite over, but there's a good end coming.

The freezing rain isnt necessarily a motivator to work on the Jeep either ...

No, it really isn't a good motivator at all...nor is the 6 evening we're supposed to have tomorrow night. That kind of cold is really not okay; someone needs to turn up the thermostat, for realz.

I'm dreading the cold..... Ugh. I have to paint on the rig, so I'm hoping I can heat up the garage. Jeep part looks good .

It was -35 in my part of Canada-land today, -31 farenheit, my jeeping was limited.

... and see what it's really going to take to build one...and then I'm going to triple that cost/time estimate and see how I feel.

Best gas milage from my Jeep to date: The time I pushed it across the lot at work.

Now that I've moved to the North Coast I'm seriously reconsidering. We managed 0 today at lunch with a -25 windchill. Forecast -40s tonight...

Great intake pic though!

My general rule of thumb is to maintain enough weaponry to start a small war, and enough ammunition to finish it. -Sundowner
