I'm curious to see what you think about the different louver panels. They all look pretty similar, but I am sure there are some details that really make the difference.

In response to all comments: the reason I asked specifically about the Hyline panel is because they have welded-in studs and because they provide a cutting template...and because they have a powdercoated version available. I don't think I'm much of a fan of GenRight's setup...

If it's worth doing, then it's worth overdoing.

In regards to the hyline i thought i heard somewhere that where the studs were you could see a fairly noticeable ring. Iirc it was in a write up for an early production model. May have changed. Figured id contribute what little i can and feed this beast of a thread.

Dude gotta be honest I was thinking along the same lines, but it being where it is, you just don't see it. I understand though if that's the deal breaker.

Have you thought about going old school and just have somebody put the louvers in like the old hot rods used to?

Can anyone tell me how the flux capacitor is used to facilitate time travel???

That's due to the studs being pressed in, and I don't think they've changed to a weld-in stud. If I got an unfinished version I could skim the rings with filler and then paint it.

Understood...but I really don't like it. The logo wasn't bad, but the words don't strike me well.

Many, many times. That's a Hendrix job.

If you're already planning on a Hendrix hi line hood, then you might as well have him put some louvers in it while he is at it.

I'll send them an e-mail and see if it's possible.

It would be the original plan, is what it would be.

In point of fact, they would be more preferable than "Material Girl"...

It's the most elegant solution, by far...but also likely the most expensive and the most difficult to have done properly. However...

...this would be the way to go. Since I won't be doing that hood for a while, yet, I'll likely go with the panel now and then see if he wants to trick one out for me, later on.

If you talk to poison spyder let them know that the majority of the jeep community would love to have their louver minus the logo. Everything else is perfect.
