I didn't realize that there was a difference. Both are 44's.

Well the purejeep Rock sliders are one. I will never order any thing that comes with a revet nut tool in it again. The tool broke on the last one go figure. I also added some stickers my awesome wife got for me for Christmas.

Now I am waiting for the UPS guy to bring me the correct dif cover. I couldn't believe that there is a difference from the front and rear. The guy at ballistic's first question was is it for the front or back. I said front and then he said sorry. ugh

Sliders look great!

Still can't believe there is a difference between the front and rear covers... I'll need to check mine, as I ordered 2 for both the front and rear.

Well the right Diff cover came in and now it is installed. Easy enough, till I broke the pump that I was using to get the gear oil in. another trip. I also wanted to replace the CCV valves cause about every two weeks the rear main seal starts to leak for a day and then stops. Is there any trick on getting these out cause the first one took over an hour. It is weird cause pvc's normally just pop out. Nope so I didn't do the rear one. Please please let me know and please have a Safe and Happy New Year!!!

Need help! The PVC fittings or CCV fittings do not want to come out!!!! In every other vehicle I have worked on they just pop out Not mine!!! I stood on my front bumper and pulled like hell. The elbow snapped and I flipped off the front of the jeep. The front bumper caught my left leg and the it didn't make it over and my right leg took all my weight. I messed up my good knee. the rear main started leaking again. I still have to do the one by the firewall and I don't want this to happen again. The first one took me over an hour to pry out. There has got to be another way to get them out and I need your help!!!! Thanks Guys!!!

If you're talking about the rear one, do youself a favor and get the tube piece going to the manifold as well. Those fittings are a major PITA to get out and even tougher to put back in. I tiny flat blade screw driver and patience are what I used.

Thanks Bob for the pic it will help. I was told awhile ago one of these could cause a pressure build up and make my rear main leak once in awhile. Now everyone is telling me that it either will or wont make it do that so I am now so confused. My rear main leaks about one day in three weeks. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I want it fixed. I did the one six months ago on my 75 CJ5 and it was a pain in the azz. I am very nervous about the Rubi because of the exhaust that wraps around the oil pan. Ugh I don't want to f it up or take too long. I am going to be a grandfather in a couple of weeks so I don't have much time right now. Any advice would be GREAT. Thanks
I drained out a bunch of oil out of the front diff after I filled it up to much by filling it in the top hole (check the picture above of the new diff) instead of the mddle hole and it burped a bunch of oil out the breather hose and made a huge mess. I drove it into base today and looks like no more oil came out. I will check it at lunch and see if there is a puddle again.
