Do a quick Google search and find your local Crown Automotive rep. Mine shipped mine to me for $3 and it was here the next day. Try to mention JeepForum and ask if they offer any discounts.

Rear main is leaking more and more looks like I am going to have to fix it really soon. funds aren't their right now. When I do it I am going to buy a new oil pan. Mine is quite rusted up. checked on some prices for a local shop. If I supply all the parts it will still be 560. NFW I will do it myself. Just very nervous about the exhaust. I don't have a lot of time right now and I still haven't touched my CJ5 in 10 Months. Crap I could use that 560 for so much more

Input

So what do you guys think about Partsgeek? Seems like they have great prices and free shipping on a bunch.

Hey also should I replace the oil pump while I am doing the rear main seal!!!

I'm a bit late to the party, but I know you were talking about the front and rear dana 44s being different. The front unlocked is an open diff. while the rear unlocked is limited slip. This may have to do with why the covers are different.

But that aside, just read through the build, great work so far. Definitely good to get the maintenance and armor out of the way before building it too much!

I never make the same mistake twice - it's more like three or four times.

The Ballistic one that was wrong would fit the opening but was to big and it would hit the suspension parts in front of it.. This rear main seal has me totally worried. Wish I was closer to Hunter (JF) Probably save up for it. Really hate the exhaust. affraid of breaking off some bolts. I started last night spraying PB blaster on it. confused

Well yesterday Hunter7158 came over to my house. Mind you he had never met me but still came over to help me with a rear main seal. I am so glad that I have been on Jeepforum for years because their are so many Great People here. Thank you Hunter I owe you big time!!! You are one of those great people! Well we started at 0900 and finished up around 1630. Sorry I didn't take to many pics. I will post those when I get home from base later today. Today I actually got to drive my Rubi to work. OH! and I there wasn't a single drip of oil. Heck Ya

Haha. A good day of wrenching, swapping stories, comparing jeep parts, and eating pizza. And no more leaky rubicons
