Ran some green-blue trails at Rausch Creek today. We had a great group of Jeeps and nobody suffered any major damage, although I layed my driver door into a rock on a blue trail and put a nice dent in my steering damper.

Played around on the RTI ramp at lunch time:

Looks like you have a blast! I can't wait to get back to rausch creek.... Your brave going with no sliders....Glad to hear the day went well with little damage.

Sliders are next on my list. I'm very careful wheeling without them. So careful that apparently I neglected to watch my door haha

Just went through your entire thread. The most impressive build and restoration i have ever seen. You made it the way the factory should have haha. All the work you did on the axles and suspension, the way you repainted everything and protected it with the POR15 was amazing. For a kid like me, 18 years old, got a slow build going while im in school on my 04 WJ special edition, your build is a serious inspiration. Sick WJ man. Goodluck with future mods and additions!

Went to Buhler Jeep's Go Topless Day yesterday. Despite the overcast it was a great turnout and a fun day. My moon roof was open, does that count for topless?

You couldn't have said it better. It's a never ending slow process but it's worth every minute of time and every dime we spend. Very nice build. I subscribed to it. You have already done some things that are on my to do list for my WJ. It's nice to see what it will look like when I do it.

Thanks guys! My next project is retrofitting that mountaineer rack into the cargo area. Olympic 4x4 says it could be done and the measurements all line up. Stay tuned...

Just ordered the Olympic 4x4 Mountaineer Rack. I hope it fits, and after measuring about 100 times, it damn well better. I plan on stowing my three action packers up top and securing them down, and also plan on mounting a Hi-Lift to the front of it with some 4x mounts. The waiting game begins...
