Was 60 degrees here today, finished up painting the steering and tinkered with my other toy:

Finished up the rear today. Real happy with how everything came out!









The springs are Iron Rock's 4" springs. After measuring, the final hub to fender measurement was 24". Stock is 18", so I'm sitting at 6" of lift. Let's hope the ride isn't too bad with the angle of the control arms!

Shield your eyes from the shine! Holy crap that is amazing, it literally looks like it is just coming off the assembly line. I can tell that you are keeping the WJ for the long haul.

Is 24" the front measurement? Maybe it needs some time to settle back in?

Thanks! 24" is the rear measurement. Hopefully the springs settle!

Well, the rear is supposed to be 19" from the factory. The front, 18" What is your front hub to fender? Have any pictures of it on its own weight?

I thought stock rear was 18"? I could be wrong. The measurement now is 24".

Finished up the front end today, just need to slap on the steering, bleed the brakes and torque everything down and off to the alignment shop it goes!

Took the Jeep for a ride today. Other than needing an alignment (that's set up for Friday), the truck drives awesome. I'm really impressed with the Bilstein shocks for sure. Took some real sharp turns at high speed and was shocked how smooth it took the turns. Can't wait to get it in the dirt to see how she does.

So, I went and had the alignment done. Specs are posted below. I am sitting at about 1.8* of caster and the Jeep has never drove better. I had the alignment done, front and rear pinion angle set and all four tires balanced. My alignment shop is about 45 minutes away. I had gotten death wobble about 5 times during the trip there, and took it easy the rest of the trip. After a couple hours, they got it set perfect. No vibrations, bump steer or death wobble. Just awesome handling and steering, not one shimmy or wobble the whole way home doing 85 MPH. Hats off to the guys at OK4WD in Stewartsville, NJ, they seem to really know what they are doing. Highly recommended shop and priced very reasonable!

So it looks like your toe was off, alot. Whats got me scratching my head though is how your caster is down to rediculously low levels now and its more well behaved. More or less I'm trying to figure out why because I was under the impression that you wanted more positive caster to stabilize the steering.
