Jeep looks great! Pretty much the same path I want to take with mine. How do you like your OME springs??

Thanks! The springs are good but the shocks are better, my plan is to swap the springs for AEV 3'' springs.

I really like what you have done to your jeep. This is what i want mine to look like when im done. Im purchasing a 2 inch BDS kit and will use my 31s for now until i save up for 33s. For your lift, did you have any vibes? Im trying to anticipate any problems

Really like the jeep, especially that it's all black.

Thanks for the compliments, guys!

Mudhunter: yes I did end up with a few slight vibes but 2 washers in between the tcase and frame solved them. An SYE/CV is going to be my next upgrade, now that I finally have adj arms.

Did you put any backspacers on for the tires?

No the wheels I bought have 3.75" of backspacing so I didn't need it. For a 12.50" wide tire anything under 4.5" of backspacing will do just fine.

Alright so the Vanco kit is in and HOLY ****! Haha this thing stops better than it ever did, even brand spankin' new with all but 30" tires on it. Seriously, if I'm not paying attention I end up stopping a good 10-12 ft back from the light.

If anyone is considering this kit, GET IT! I was skeptical at first, especially since it is nearly $900 when coupled with centric rotors and black magic brake pads shipped, but Jesus Christ I was always one who considered my braking "adequate," but now that I realize what real braking feels like thinking about how she used to stop just feels downright DANGEROUS!!

Also, I ran in to financial woes due to some family related issues so the kevlars were a no-go. I did, however, score an awesome (I think) deal on some 35x12.50" Dunlops, I picked up a set of four and three have about 65% tread and the fourth is brand new for only $250! I think they'll hold me over fine until after deployment when I'll have some cash to spend. No pictures right now but I'll post some up tomorrow of everything, it's been real ****ty out I haven't felt like a photo-sesh .

Some Pics! They're all from my phone. The first is during the Vanco install when we ground down the unit bearing. Yes we were working at night, daylight disappears FAST when you realize you need to swap all of your balljoints ...I'm going to make it a point to start checking those more often, although at 50k I guess it was about time.

The other two are next to a Jeep with a 2" BB on 31's, and no I did not see that KFC bag prior to parking and I would have removed it had I not parked on it .

What do you people think about the rear flares....? I've been toying around with the idea of removing them, but I don't know if I really want to due to the fact that I'll just have a bunch of holes in the side of the Jeep. The plan is to get corners with no flare holes to eliminate this problem but they are probably around number 3-4 on a list of things to buy for the Jeep.

A better question is... are you gonna be around for some wheelin' the weekend of May 14th and 15th? It's the OK4WD Open House and Rock Krawl event. All the cool kids will be there .

Every year you do this to me....

My ship pulls out on deployment on the 12th....7 months and no Jeep.

However, if you plan to hit Raush before that let me know.
