got one rocker primered and the other luckily had ZERO bed liner on it!! yay!! so the stripper melted off the paint before i could even finish applying it. so that one should be sanded down tonight and primered as well

Wait.... take mount them temporarily, take some tape and tape a line extending from where the tube ends on the fender. Paint the top OD, and the bottom Gloss Black. Then paint the tube of the fender black. That would give a good contrast. For an example look at the pumkinator's build thread (Bennettj13's Jeep)

Eh, you lazy young whippersnappers. You need to learn how to do things right the first time, and take pride in making your work the best it could be.

yeah i think it would look cool but the benefit of keeping it simple is that if i get some scratches i can just hit it with the rattle can instead of re taping stuff off and doing it. ill still give it some thought though

got the rockers on today with the help of Ptr once again. he came and got me so i could get the the new hardware i needed not just for the rockers but also had to pick up some new body mount bolts. the ones i had werent long enough with the new beef on there. also a thanks goes out to George at round rock jeeps for helping me out. i think they look great and cant wait to get the other tube fender to complete this process

Looks great but how much clearance did you lose because of those tubes? It looks like an inch or so, right?

3" Currie progressives, OME Shocks, 1" BL, 1" MML, 35x12.50" KM2's, 4.88's, Detroit in rear, Vanco BBK, Currie CA's

yeah something like that but not enough that im worried about it. i never rubbed on top but along the back of the fender and these have an inch/inch and half extra clearance there
