well it is/was my GFs and she was wanting to trade it in to get her 370z but i said what the hell ill buy it. it was only 1,000 bucks so why the hell not. it gets great MPG and can fit her and i along with alot of other people/stuff where as my jeep typically doesnt have a back seat and the 370z doesnt have back seats either. cosmetically its beat but mechanically its great

They're solid powertrains for the most part... just replace ignition stuff with stock(the 2.4s hate aftermarket "SUPER PLATINUM ELEVENTY BILLION TIPPED PLUGS" and fancy wires and like to take out the coil pack when they are used for a long time). Keep the trans fluid fresh and full, and keep engine oil changed and you'll be in great shape.

It won't keep you from looking like Al the Girly Man though

Or severely tinted windows and a paper bag on your head with 2 holes just in case

You'll find that having an alternate vehicle is one of the best mods for your Jeep that you'll get.

Make sure it's a big bearing 9" or else it's no better than a D44 strength-wise.

i ended up deciding against it. if i did that then ill have to find/build a front axle then ill have to find a D300 or save for an atlas . . . i got to much **** i gotta take care of first with the jeep before i do that. i got to excited and didnt think it through
