soooo... i really want to save the look of the flares, i think it looks very clean that way. So i will be dropping down to 33s, just ordered some MTZs to put on my Canyons!

Then i will drop the front end down some and do some bumpstopping for the 33s!

also on my list:

wire arbs and compressor
get a-pillar lights on
put my nice stereo in
change out control arm bushings (literally falling apart)
finish cleaning off the sticky crap from the side molding
make my flares black again

and thats all i can think of for now. wont get around to that stuff till next weekend, as i go back to school and work this week. but EJS is coming quick!!

You going to strip the carcass for spares? I was thinking of converting my TJ to an auto, might be interested in the tranny and all associated goodies, flex plate to computer.

Reason being that Atlas (3:1) I won is a bit too tall for my 5 speed but would be dead on for an autobox.

Of course the fact I'm banned from lifting anything over 10lbs is kind of a downer

I am going to hang on to it! I was gunna keep the tranny for sure, as a spare. When do you think your tranny swap project would begin?

Just kicking it around, way too much work to undertake any time soon, heck I probably won't even be able to put the new arms on the front before Moab. I'd be saving the tranny for a spare also Can't have too many spares.
Cheers

JK pictures don't do any obstacle justice. Guys if he hasn't mentioned it last fall this jeep walked Pritchett, first try on every obstacle, no rope at all.

Come on over and grab those 33"s, my guess is you won't stay with them long before you go 35"s again. Good luck on the build, looks like you got a good starter rig.

to bad the jeep didnt have the smart driver mod
