You don't want any that mount to the body mounts......the ones you want go around the body mounts and fasten securely to the bottom and side of the tub.

Why? Is it because a hit could rip out the body mounts?

That, and why would you want body armor mounted between the body mount bushing and the tub? That's the cheap, easy way to secure the slider to the bottom of the tub and it's not very friendly on the either the tub or mounts. I went that route early on as well and I can tell you that it's a PITA and not the right way to do it. Get something worth buying, don't take the cheap way out.

Properly fastening a slider to the tub involves preload. You don't get that with body mounted sliders.

I'd say its more because they are a pain in the *** to install.

Okay looked at a few of the mmore closely.

Metalcloak attaches directly to the rocker panel. Didn't see anything about underneath mounting though, I could have missed it.

Rokmen has side and underneath mounting with cutouts for the body mounts.

And I can't really tell on the crown ones.

Maybe instead of making vague derogatory comments you should explain your reasoning.

Regardless of if the rock slider wraps under only 2 inches or runs all the way to the frame rail, I've never seen a rock that was shaped just perfectly so that it would hit the tub under there before hitting the slider or frame first. Even if you did somehow manage to hit the tub, its not gonna hurt anything. It is double walled there and isn't visible.

Yeah you're gonna be dragging your body mounts long before you hit the tub at that point. Mine wrap up pretty far, but i can take a picture and show you that the majority of the dings and dents are down the side of the rocker, not way up underneath where you're thinking it matters.
