A good warranty on a crap part is useless.

Don't want to hijack. Been researching a ton before I start making it rain on my DD. Rather buy most of the components I need in one shot. I was looking at going DPG kit with JKS track bars.
MC vs. JKS vs. Currie. Does it really matter? all three seem to get the same amount of praise...
Loving the build. Hopefully I'll be getting the basics up under mine sooner than later.

I plan on getting the Metalcloak bars eventually. Can't really comment on any of them since I've only run stock though.

Don't want to hijack too much here, but yes it matters some.

My jeep had a lift on it before I bought it; then was back to stock, but with a jks tb. Here's my 2 cents:

The Currie bar adjusts short enough for low lifts, but still requires more bumpstops (I think d30 clears better though?) This was my first choice before the mc bar came out.

The jks I can't comment on much, as mine was (I think it was) an older style & it didn't clear the diff at all really...

I currently run a mc bar on bb spacers, which supposedly was going to be too low of lift to use it & the tb was probably going to be to long. That being said, it's almost perfectly centered on my jeep, maybe less than 1/4" off...maybe.

I'm very happy with my mc track bar right now & the customer service I received from mc.

You were talking about buying moog from rock auto. Don't. I did when my dw came about in the jk. They were the only place I could even buy a replacement draglink since the ball joints were shot. Well rock auto didn't even send all the parts like ball joint boots grease zerts or even nuts. And I could find the nuts anywhere. Ill never buy from rock auto again. I wish I had more money when I needed it I would have bought better stuff.

Thanks for the heads up.

Well, going to look at another WRX Friday. The guy had just replaced the radiator, head gaskets, timing belt I think, and a few other things that needed to be done at 130k miles. It's going to be really nice to have that jeep sit in pieces in the garage. Hopefully the build will start moving along a little quicker when that happens.

Look into XRF... I used their balljoints and TRE's. I also replaced my TB bushing with the Moog blue two-piece. Has worked fine, I still need to tighten it. Also, I recommend replacing the bolt with a stronger metric equivalent. Unlimited04 has a write-up or its in his build thread, I forget.

Eh. Not as much as I'd like it to, but at least I have a better idea of what I'm going to be doing to it.

Going to look at the WRX tomorrow. The guys done about $2500 worth of maintenance on it. If everything's good on it, the jeep will be retired from DD duties
