Thats my plan but with the 2.5" RC coils.

Going to extend the front and rear shocks and compliment it with highlining and comp cut corners

You'd need to hiline or gets some 'cloaks to have any respectable travel with that setup.

Dark green would probably look fine. Best I've ever seen is IH8PPL's Matte black rig with the AEV kit. That looks so right.

Oh yeah, been admiring his for awhile.
But, wouldn't there be a gap below my flares when I move them up..? Might look bad.

I'd probably go with Rokmens fenders if I were to hiline. But since you want to keep the stock flairs, I'd have to say do the AEV hiline. I've only seen 1 DIY stock fender hiline that was pretty decent. IMO

AEV highlines are for mall crawlers.

I'm not spending that kind of money on it. And if I were, I'd probably do genrights kit.

Seems like a pretty sweet deal to me. But then again I'm wrong 99% of the time

Hey, I didn't say AEV was the way to go. I was just stating that's what the guy has. I'd never drop that kind of coin on a slightly reworked stock fender.

I would never run an aluminum fender. I like being able to smash my fenders into trees and rocks and not worrying about whether or not they are going to bend. I don't care for the looks of genright fenders either, but that's a personal taste thing. Sinister fab has some really sweet looking fenders. If I had my jeep to do over I would be running their 3" flare highline.

I know.

The only option I would consider for staying stock looking with highline clearance is a DIY highline like Clay and I did to Clay's TJ. To the naked eye you can't tell anything is different, but it was also a lot of work to get it to look good. Cheap though.

That's what I was thinking.
