Told ya it was simple. The drag link takes a lot of turns to move the wheel even a little. I guess it'll help if you can have your dad watch it as you turn it though, by yourself sucks lo

Easiest way to set the drag link is to put the steering wheel where it was driving straight. Then since its LH RH thread, adjust it until it is straight.

thats the only way i know of.

it took about 25 turns to get mine from pointing 140 degrees down to to right to near straight.

Nope. Super easy. It isn't a full case locker so there's no setting backlash ect.

It varies. It mostly depends on if your front diff has ever been worked on. If it is still factory you can do it yourself no problem. If it has been worked on at some point (a possibility with a rig as old as yours) it is more difficult as it will probably require a case spreader. You could probably have it done for you for $100-150. There are plenty of write-ups out there on how to do it yourself though.
