So, I've had my jeep listed on Craigslist just to test out the waters.

I had a guy text me today saying he'd give me $10k cash. I couldn't bring myself to do it though. I love this thing too much.

Decided to wash the jeep and try cleaning some of the interior. The jeep still cleans up pretty good for being 16 years old. Also took the doors and windows off

Finally got a spare tire. 33x12.5x15" duratrac. Exactly what I have. Great tread left too. Thanks Allen!

Now to mount it and decide what I want to do for a carrier.

I have a new plan for the jeep that is very interesting to me. I've been doing quite a bit of research on it over the past few days. It may cause a bit of a ruckus.

Will go into more detail after my exam...

My dad and I are actually looking for an early truck to put our 331 industrial in. And it'll be on bags if I have a say so!

But no, not on my jeep

Back at my apartment now.

Here's what I'm planning to do. Keep in mind this is in the VERY distant future.

Axle: 8.8, ARB, chromos, ECGS swap kit.

Front suspension: MC 3.5" or currie 3" coils, MC or currie TB, Antirock, unsure of shocks.

Rear suspension: BTF crossmember, outboarded shocks, and OME XJ leafs. Yes, you read that right.

Others: Genright comp tank, 35" falken WP MT, maybe spyderlocks.

The reason this really caught my eye is because it seems like an easy(er) and more cost effective way to stretch ~5-7" vs. a typical mid-arm link set up. I would be doing SUA, and try to get about 3-4" of lift. That with my body will be perfect for 35s.

"What about the belly Ty? Your jeep is still fat and ugly."
Yes, but I haven't gotten hung up on it yet. Over this period of waiting I will see if and when I do hit it, and how much of a tuck I think I will need. I do plan on a JB SSSYE, and with the driveshaft having to be quite a few inches longer, I shouldn't have any problems throwing a belly skid on when I decide its necessary.

"But Ty you can't weld."
I know that, *******. This summer I will be practicing my welding. A couple projects off the top of my head I'm going to try are: building a squat rack, building a thing to hold all of the weight plates, and maybe even a cheap car I can mess around with.

I am open and welcome a link vs. leaf debate, but I do NOT want this to have any bashing whatsoever.
