I'm looking for a 8.8 that I hope will become your 8.8's twin. Have you ever seen a license plate wrapped around the back corner? That's what I did to mine when I took the plastic bracket off.

I am pumped about the 8.8. I think it is going to be perfect for me for a while.

I have seen that done with the license plate. I will be mounting it to the spare tire when the carrier is built. I just zip tied it on the bumper just to drive it over to the shop.

That took forever to read. Hopefully after I graduate and start actual work I'll be able to get some work done on my Jeep. I'm thinking about a path not very different from yours. Most likely an 8.8 or similar in back and build my D30 up for the front but that will be at least a year from now. As for the tow pig , I happen to be a Dodge guy but I like the styling of these Fords.

I will have to add up everything I have in the 8.8 after I get the bill from the shop, but considering it is currently a brand new, fully build axle, I think it is going to make one nice package. I think it is going to be the perfect axle for this jeep.

My 6 year old son and I stopped by the shop today. We got a good laugh when my son hugged the jeep. I guess he misses it too.

....and I LOVE my eff two-fiddy!

Last expected shipment for a little while. Getting a little backed up with parts. I have been very excited about running an Antirock though.

Hmmm, that thing is dangerous...better just mail it to me....for...uh...safety

I may have missed it, but do you have any pics of your passenger seat slid/folded as far forward as possible.

I would like to replace my seat bases whenever I do seats...but don't know how it'd be to lose the passenger fold forward feature....right now, I hardly ever have ppl back there, but idk about long-term.

Thanks

They could climb over the center console

If you can't stand behind our troops feel free to stand in front of them!

Well that is an easy solution if you just leave the top off.

Haha, thanks both of you...that is the method I've used the most actually (just have them climb in with the top down)....however, I won't only be putting 20yr old girls in the back forever

...eventually, when I have to grow up...I may want to have ppl get in from the front.

It almost feels like stock.....not 100%, but darn close and I am very happy so far. 5.13s are ideal for my setup, but not possible with the d30.

I went out and took a couple pictures.
The first shows normal position all the way back.
The second shows the seat all the way forward.
The third shows all the way forward and tilted all the way forward.
Fourth is just another angle of the third setting.

If he goes in through the front door area, he climbs back there going through where the center console would be if I had one. It really is not accessible 'the normal way'.
