Yeah, I am excited about them. They really should make a big diff. 5.13s are really ideal for my 4cyl/5spd/35" tires, but 4.88 was the best I could do with stock axles. I am ok with that.

Post a picture of your Jeep. I would probably recognize you that way, but yes, we probably have met at a KORE meet.

Yeah, I think I recognize your Jeep. RC lift?

Will you be there on the 19th?

Yeah its an RC lift. Its been on there since I bought it and so far I haven't felt the need to change it. It does the job. lol

My brother is coming into town on the 18th so I'm not sure. As of now I am planning on going the meet on the 19th... but plans change.

Today was a good day for the Jeep.......even though it is not even here. It's still at the axle shop getting worked on. Ended up having bad rear spider gears, so they had to order those.

I picked up an 8.8 today for $200. 31 spline and disc brakes set up. It is ugly, but is getting completely stripped down anyway. All I really wanted/needed was a bare housing, but oh well. Super88 planned for this with an ARB. Will go with the Artec truss/bracket system. Axle guy says I don't need it, but I really like it and am excited to go into this axle knowing it will be built to its fullest potential before slinging under the Jeep.

Nice winch! And don't worry what the axle guy says. The truss will be nice and there's no such thing as over built. (Leave it to JF to spend your money LOL).

Awesome!! I just finished my 8.8 build/swap about a month ago. I also went with the Artec Truss kit and I cant say enough great things about it. It really made the swap a lot easier with the integrated brackets.

What all did you do with yours other than the Artec? Do you have a build log or parts list for it?

I haven't done a build tread or anything but i have a spread sheet on my work computer. If you want I can bring it to KORE meet this Thursday. I order all the gears, overhaul kits, and locker from Rusty's because after pricing out a dozen websites they were the cheapest. I didn't do the super88 kit so I'm just running stock 31 splines. ECGS.com is also a great website to check out.

I have been looking at ECGS for all of the small, basic stuff.
They also have a good price on the Yukon c-clip elim kit.

This guy followed me home today. Have some more tube to add (adding upper, rear triangulation). Want to replace the A pillar setup with a single piece going through the dash on each side, instead if the tube and stanchion.

Oh yeah, and then it gets powdercoated black
