Oh yeah, those pics also show the 3/4" spacers front and rear. That puts the Jeep at 2" of total lift.....1.25" body lift, 3/4" coil spacer.

I also got a new air compressor for the garage. It is technically used, but it was only run once.....so it's "new" to me! I had the 220v outlet added this morning and it is running perfect. It's a 60gal single stage, belt-driven unit. It should suit me just fine.

Step aside 12gal direct-drive oiled compressor!

Front bumper build in progress.

Will update when there is something to....update.

Think, very low profile.

To the uninformed eye, this looks like a piece of bent steel plate.

To the informed eye (which now includes you), this is the start of my new front bumper.

It is obviously in its infancy, but I am using spare material, in spare time. I was able to enlist a couple eager guys in the shop to give me a hand with it. The design will start to make more sense as more work is done.

The basic bumper portion will end up costing me $37.98 , which comes from the d-ring shackles I am ordering (not worth making ourselves for what they cost ordering). I will be adding some tubing to it which will cost another few bucks. They have just about every metal-working tool you can think of out here, but no tube bender....just no need. I will probably order the tube from Jeeptubes.com unless I can find someone local to me with a tube bender willing to help.

Making slow progress on the front bumper. Too many things going on to give it too much attention. I am anxious to get it finished though.

I will be placing my order for the rear Corbeau Baja seat this week. I sold off the OEM seats (front and back) a couple weeks ago, so I am anxious to get a backseat back in there.

Rear Corbeau 40" Baja Bench and TJ bracket will be here tomorrow.

Here is where I'm at with the bumper.....I drilled the top mounting holes this evening (not shown). I am going to mock up the bottom and sides this weekend and get it back to the shop for final welding of those parts.

Can't wait to get this thing sandblasted!

I REALLY hate to ask this since they are all nice and burned in already, but have you test fit some shackles in those shackle mounts?? It looks awfully close to the face of the bumper. If so, carry on, disregard my post. I just didn't want you to get it all finished up and then...

But, you've got a good looking toy there keep it up.

Good question! I did test fit them and they do fit just fine.
The guy doing the welding asked the same question, so we test fit them before he burnt them in.

...and thanks!

My wife called me at the office a little while ago to tell me there was a giant package on the front porch for me.

No sense in letting it just sit there in the entry-way....

Thanks!

It would fit two kids extremely comfortably, or one adult and kid. I'm not sure how comfortable it would be for two adults.
I joke that it's my son's seat because he is the only person that ever sits back there. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even run a seat back there.

Looks great! Curious about what your front coils measure. I'm trying to get an idea what coils I need now that my bds 3s are a little work out

Thanks!

Not sure of the measurements. They are stock 2006 coils.

A present showed up for me Friday. It was a 'thank-you' present from some people I've been doing some side work for.
It came in just in time for the trip to Creekside Edge on Saturday.
