Try to build it right build

Hey everyone, I've been meaning to make a build on here for a while now. I'll start off with a little back ground. I'm 20 in college right now, work full time as a computer tech for my dad's company. I had always wanted a Jeep from when I was little seeing other Jeeps with the top down. Then when I turned 16 my Uncle sold me a 2000 Grand Cherokee 2wd. I loved that jeep.... but I had to have a 4wd to play around on. One of the other guys that worked with me at the time had a lifted 2 door Cherokee and got me into Jeeps. So I was on the look out for a Wrangler. I found mine put payment on it and have been paying ever since. It's a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mt. Edition dark blue. I had it the first day took my doors of and went wheeling through a local power lines path. Been hooked ever since reading and reading on here and pirate. So I had it for about a year and had finally saved up enough money to get a lift and tires. I thought I had done my research and got a good lift......... Man was I wrong ... Got a 4" Rough country x-series lift it was a good lift until the control arms started getting really squeaky and loose. So now I'm upgrading all of that to Currie/Savvy stuff now.. Slowly, but surely haha. Pictures will be up a little later tonight when I get home to my laptop.

Here's a picture from last year with the 4" rough country and 33" cooper discovery stt's. First picture is in an abandoned warehouse few minutes away from my house. The second is on a local trail in a creek..... I'm trying to find some pictures of it before the lift and mods. So I'll keep updating from here.

Can anyone tell me how to re size the images??

Okay time to update... again.. aha. Okay so how she sits now is: Rough Country springs and shocks, Currie control arms, Currie front trac bar, Currie hd steering, 4.56 gears front spartan locker, and savvy 1.25 bl and 1" mml. trying to decide what to do next.

I don't know what to do next. I need new shocks the rough country shock aren't hitting on much anymore and need to be upgraded. Now I don't know if I want to be as high as I am. I wouldn't mind being on 3in springs and the bl, but I don't know what to do. Ideas anyone?

I've got to find my camera.... no more lending it out anymore..

The rancho rs9000xl's would be a nice upgrade to ur suspension they handle very well and the adjustablity works amazingly. I believe aev sells very good quality 3in coils but with you sitting at about 5inches of lift u could probably use some bigger tires to fillout all that room

Jeep looks good. Maybe you could customize it more. Add some of your personality to it

Yea, I've added a few things since that picture. It now has a winch, fogs on the bumper and windshield, stickers on the windshield, and smoked turn signals. I just have to find my camera for the pictures!

Yeah definitely need to find that camera, we need some pictures. I'm think about doing the 1.25" body lift and MML. DId you install it yourself? And my suggestion would be to add some lights and maybe trim the fenders when you get the 35's. I found my jeep looked infinitely better after i trimmed them, they dont look as crammed

Yea! I found some pictures when I first lifted it. They will be up once I figure out how to resize the pictures! Yea the bl and mml I did my self with the help of a friend! We did the bl in 45 minutes, but the mml took about an hour or more. We had some issues realigning the bolts. There are some videos of how to install a bl and mml on rokmens website so check those out!

I think someone deleted my pictures from my camera... bummer. But I will be taking some tomorrow to get up!

Alright, might be my next upgrade. But if i were you i would just upload all your pictures to photobucket. Its free to make an account, you will always have your pictures somewhere, and they get resized automatically when you post them on here. When you view one of your pictures just click the direct link think on the right and copy that into the insert picture deal on here

Okay I'm gonna go ahead and open a photo bucket account then! The bl and mml are an easy way to get a little extra clearance, and easy to install. Just watch those videos and it'll be a breeze through.

Here's a link to a photo bucket account , with installing the lift and a few random pictures.

Thanks! I'm trying to get it driving nicely right now. Little shaking in the steering wheel and I have to adjust the rear control arms a little to get rid of some vibes
