The ride home

My old Jeep with the new

Took it deer hunting on its first adventure!

Having a little fun at Deer Camp
Sway bar connected

Sway bar disconnected

I was tired of the stock sound system so I ordered Alpine Type R 6.5's for the rear sound bar, 5.25's for the front dash, Kicker 8 inch comp RT, Marine grade Kenwood head unit

Window tint!!

Added a brush Guard for that Warn front bumper

The list to be completed by this spring:
Truck-Lite LED headlights
5 channel mrx-70 amp
Black Wheels (anyone interested in a killer deal on some chrome rims??)
Replace Catalyst Converter
CB Radio
Lightly smoke the turn signals

Thanks for checking it out!!
I love other peoples ideas and input! So if you have any thoughts go ahead and share them!

post more pictures of the upgraded sound system. What did you do to mount the bigger speakers to the sound bar so neatly? where are you putting the sub?

thanks

I will get some more pictures tomorrow for you but for right now to answer your questions, the alpine 6.5's fit just fine in the sound bar. Although to for the 5.25's in the front dash you have to get little brackets made by "nalin" (well worth the little money). As for the sub I just went to town with a rotary tool in the factory center console under the arm rest and fit it perfectly where the stock sub was. (I can also get a few more pictures of that too. And I just ordered my 5 channel amp and I plan on mounting that underneath the steering column. (Of course I'll post some pics when I get around to that).

call me ignorant but i was not tracking that they put factory subs in the center console. my car audio smarts ...are um...lacking. im tracking on the front speaker brackets.. i did that upgrade to the last TJ i had. STUPID QUESTION: does the sub in the console face in or out? does it annoyingly thump your arm or no?

thanks man

It faces directly into the drivers seat, and no It does not "thump" me at all. But then again I haven't gave to Much power to this sub yet to really get it to hit very hard. (Stock amp sucks)

What kind of pictures do you want exactly? Here is a quick pic of the headunit I used. And a quick shot of the sub next to my seat

And I forgot to add these in my original post, but santa brought me some seat covers and some handles!

I got the "Coverking Custom Seat Covers with Jeep® Logo" from Quadratec in the Tan/Black. I am very impressed by them! They add quite a bit of cushion to the seat so it is actually more comfortable

And of course, thank you all for the encouraging comments

Is your sub resting against your seatbelt?
