Painted the front axle and got some very important kingpin rebuilders parts from 4wdfactory.com
Found out about them from the billa vista tech garage on pirate. Some amazing info there if you've never looked.
Also welded on some much needed support for the upper link mounts on the front truss.

Locking hubs arrived yesterday! Should have the entire front axle in place once again really soon!

Well bad news....

Dropped the frame on my dads finger and crushed the tip of it off between the rear shock and shock mount while mounting it all up.

oops but hey, no good jeep is born without a little blood spilled.
Hope they're able to get him fixed up fine. Anything that heals doesn't count in the long run.

In case y'all were wondering you can't fit your fingers in between the shock and shock mounts it's tight. And as chris said this will have to be a great jeep haha.

They tried to sew on the tip again with 5 stitches to tack it into place. He goes back Tuesday to see about whether or not to have surgery and if the finger tip takes to the rest of the finger.

The crawler looks nice with shocks on it all the way around.
And right behind where my dad had his incident there was a napkin laying on the ground with quite a bit of blood on it. (For his hand only to be pointing down for about a second or two) so I hung it up on the shop wall.
