Not so proud of this mod but replaced the rear bumper with a Smitybilt tire carrier. Bought it at an auction really cheap. May remove or upgrade if needed later. Mine hasn't made any noises and seems solid so far.
You started with one of my least favorite Jeeps.....and so far it looks like you're taking care of business the right way. Diggin that bumper.
Yeah, I don't care for all the Tomb Raider extras either. I was looking for a Rubicon and the price was great. Plus, selling the flares, light bar, wheels, and other stuff will add some cash to help fund the build.
The interior will be the only thing that will be TR.
Gotta get tube fenders and lift installed this month so I can get the tires on.
Steering upgrade will follow soon.
Also planning a Novak shift cable,UCF high clearance skid, and Tom Woods drive shaft.

Not much has happen lately. Been collecting parts.
Took the light bar off!!
I am installing my lift and tires this weekend.
Hoping I don't have trouble with rusty bolts but I am ready to deal with it. The upper shock bolts look bad and I have been spraying PB Blaster on everything for a week.
My JKS rear track bar with cv bracket will be here tomorrow.
Ordered a Tatton rear cv shaft that will be here later in the week.
Also, Got my rear Chromoly axle shafts but have to get the bearing pressed on before I can install.
Sold the Smitybilt Fenders. Going to order the Metalcloak arched Fenders this month. I really want more clearance for the 35s and the inner fender will be great. Hopefully getting the Savvy aluminum rear corners soon after.
Also upgrade my steering with a ZJ tie rod. Kept my old one as a spare. I'll see how it holds up.
Got my new Tatton front drive shaft today, looks nice. Now I can get rid of the " angry sparrows".
Only costs 50$ more than a rebuilt + now I have a trail spare!
