Update:
My dad painted the grill and fender so they wouldn't stick out too obviously. I think it looks pretty good.
We assembled the front end today, had a little trouble with a few bolts, I broke two... But we finally got it right.
Then the hood was put on, aligned and my dad fixed a few bends in it.

I cleaned the interior, still dirty, but I decided to throw the carpet back in it. Looks clean.

Weeks ago I installed my novak cable shifter and adjusted it, shifts like butter.

To get it to move around I had to install the driveshaft the Tcase came with, I realized it's a bit long... Fack. Time to get it shortened.

I finally wired up my PIAA lights as well, I did my best to get it to look professional. I think it turned out pretty good.

List of things to do still:
- Replace return line on power steering (Have the hose)
- Replace steering with the HD Currie system and install OME stabilizer (Ordered)
- Fix some body damage
- Get windshield installed
- Attempt to align the jeep in the garage
- Bleed brakes
- Figure why engine light is on (No codes)
- Finish putting interior back together
- Replace inner seals on the D30
- Get driveshaft shortened, and rebuild front driveshaft

That's all I can remember off the top of my head. Hopefully I can get all this done by the end of the month.
I know it doesn't seem like much of an update. More to come later on.

Looks good, keep up the good work.

I am doing a similar project, swapping a 1997 tub onto a 2003 frame and drivetrain.

As for your rear driveshaft. As you stated, you need it shortened. That should only cost you about 100$. You also need to adjust your pinion angle. Yours is way off (partly due to the CV driveshaft). To do this you will need adjustable upper control arms. I just recently did this on my jeep.

Thanks!

Nice, how goes that? Got a thread?

I forgot to mention that I got adjustable uppers. I still need to throw those on.

holy *explicit*! thats some cold weather. i thought single digits and teens was cooler but that is COLD! guess i couldn't wear shorts year around there? haha The jeep looks great! coming together well! Also on back to the engine light but no code problem, the obvious thing is the gas cap but Ive also heard of vaccum leaks and air restrictions to cause this. And the forum helps us again heres some options from others http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/he...tored-1123590/

I'm finishing up last little jobs on the jeep.
I will post some pictures tomorrow of all the work I have done.

It looks a lot different then before... I have a nice surprise for you all.

DONE!

There you go everyone. 99% done.
Need to replace the battery because it decided to stop holding a charge a couple days. One more body bolt to fix, then its 100% done finally.

Monday I am hoping to get it inspected. I really can't wait to start driving my jeep again. It's been a year already.

Thanks for watching everyone.

It is, but I feel better with all the parts I get to order and that are coming in.
Are your parents paying for the parts or are you?
