Took 3 years to get to do this!!!

After a 3 year buildup I finally have 4 wheel drive!! Sorry, I couldn't find anything more extreme but at least I got to lock in the hubs and play in the power line cut a bit...

I probably shouldn't have gone alone but I couldn't wait so I just stayed near the treeline so I could winch out.

Was that you first time to take it out in the mud since you built it? Looks Great.

Thanks.. yeah the top pics were. I just went again with my buddy in that pic above (the Chevy truck). The CJ really gets it in the mud with the Swampers, lockers, 350, and 3.73 gears. Still working on some areas though. I'm gonna fab a snorkel for it as I'm kinda paranoid about running an open element air cleaner in deep mud/water. Last thing I need to do is ingest agua and lock up the motor. Now all I need to do is get my truck and trailer going so I can trailer the CJ to the trail... that way I have a way to get it home if it breaks. Once that's all set up... I'm really gonna womp on it

Looks real good. I frequently wheel along a power line area just like that. They always seem to have nice mud holes around them.

Nice rig Paul.. I look at cleaning my Jeep as spending quality time with it. I have succumbed to the fact that I will never be able to resist big mudholes and steep hills. I will wheel hard..accept what comes.. fix things that break (with bigger/better) and then do it again... then I will die.. that is my destiny
